Bend it like Beckham!

So I've never played soccer before, but I am seriously thinking about joining a coed league just for fun AND to help me get back into shape. I was reading my Self mag (aka Alecia's Bible) and one of the Fitness Flash tips was all about soccer! According to a report by the University of Copenhagen, "those who took the field for an hour three times a week lost 8 pounds in three months, almost twice as much as those who steadily jogged an equal amount." So there ya have it. Plus it's fun! I suck at running TRUST ME ON THAT, but this looks like a great way to lose weight and make some new friends:) Why not?
